Scope Certificate (SC)
Confirms that an organisation is certified to produce specific certified products. Issued per facility, valid for 12 months, and publicly verifiable on the Pando portal.
Transaction Certificate (TC)
Issued for each individual shipment of certified goods. Provides traceable proof that a specific batch of product meets the standard's requirements throughout the supply chain.
Group Certificate
Covers multiple sites within a corporate group under a single certification umbrella, ideal for organisations with numerous processing facilities.

From application to certified in six steps
Our streamlined process is designed to be as straightforward as possible, with clear timelines and dedicated support at every stage.
Application
Submit your application via our secure portal. Provide details about your organisation, facilities, products, and the standard(s) you wish to be certified against.
Feasibility Review
Our team reviews your application and carries out a preliminary assessment to confirm eligibility, identify potential risks, and plan the audit scope.
Audit Planning
We assign a qualified auditor with relevant expertise and agree on audit dates, documentation requirements, and facility access logistics.
Audit Execution
The audit is conducted on-site or remotely. Findings are documented, non-conformances (if any) are identified, and an audit report is prepared.
Corrective Actions
If non-conformances are found, you submit a corrective action plan. Minor NCs must be closed within 60 days; major NCs may require a follow-up audit.
Certificate Issuance
Once all requirements are met, your Scope Certificate is issued and published in the Pando public registry. Valid for 12 months with annual surveillance.

How long does it take from application to certificate?
Typically 4–8 weeks for a standard initial certification, depending on audit scheduling, documentation readiness, and whether any non-conformances need to be resolved.
What happens if non-conformances are found?
Minor non-conformances must be corrected within 60 days of the audit report. Major non-conformances may require a follow-up visit before certification can be granted.
Are audits conducted in local languages?
Yes. Pando maintains a network of auditors across 38 countries who can conduct audits in local languages, ensuring accurate communication with your teams.
Can I certify multiple sites at once?
Yes. We offer group certification for multi-site organisations, allowing all facilities to be assessed under a coordinated programme that reduces duplication and cost.
How are transaction certificates issued?
TCs are generated through our digital portal at the point of sale for each shipment of certified goods. Buyers can verify TCs online in real time.
What standards does Pando audit against?
We are accredited to certify against GOTS, OCS, RCS, GRS, CCS, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and the Better Cotton Initiative standard, among others.
